Job Overview

Metcor Trading (Pty) Ltd is seeking a skilled and dependable Grab Truck Driver for our Recycling Facility located in Phoenix Industrial Park. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the greater Durban area, experience in safe vehicle operation, and a commitment to maintaining company standards in line with safety and traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities

-Navigate efficiently throughout the greater Durban area to meet delivery and collection schedules.

-Strictly adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Road Traffic Act, and company policies.

-Take full responsibility for the assigned vehicle and equipment, ensuring they are maintained, clean, and in good working order.

-Work effectively under pressure, managing time and tasks even in challenging conditions.

Requirements

–Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant truck driving experience.

–License: Valid Code 14 driverโ€™s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PRDP).

–Skills: Strong navigation abilities, a focus on safety, and attention to detail in vehicle care.
