Overview

PEP, South Africa’s largest single-brand retailer, is recruiting Part-Time Sales Assistants for stores nationwide. These roles offer flexible hours (up to 27 hours per week), making them perfect for students, parents, or individuals seeking part-time work in a dynamic retail environment. Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet, assist, and provide recommendations to customers.
• Sales & Promotions: Promote deals, support sales growth, and meet store targets.
• Cash Handling: Operate tills, process payments, and ensure accuracy.
• Stock Management: Receive, pack, and display stock effectively.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, safety, and order in the store.
• Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to create a cost-effective, positive store environment.

Entry Requirements

• Matric certificate.
• Must reside within 15 km of the store location.
• Proficiency in English and/or Afrikaans.
• Clear criminal record.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

• Previous experience as Sales Assistant, Cashier, or in retail.
• Knowledge of customer service best practices.
• Friendly personality and excellent communication skills.
