Overview
PEP, South Africaโs largest single-brand retailer, is recruiting Part-Time Sales Assistants for stores nationwide. These roles offer flexible hours (up to 27 hours per week), making them perfect for students, parents, or individuals seeking part-time work in a dynamic retail environment. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet, assist, and provide recommendations to customers.
- Sales & Promotions: Promote deals, support sales growth, and meet store targets.
- Cash Handling: Operate tills, process payments, and ensure accuracy.
- Stock Management: Receive, pack, and display stock effectively.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, safety, and order in the store.
- Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to create a cost-effective, positive store environment.
Entry Requirements
- Matric certificate.
- Must reside within 15 km of the store location.
- Proficiency in English and/or Afrikaans.
- Clear criminal record.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Strong customer service orientation.
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
- Previous experience as Sales Assistant, Cashier, or in retail.
- Knowledge of customer service best practices.
- Friendly personality and excellent communication skills.
