Job Overview

Phakisa Holdings (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Reach Truck Driver for a temporary full-time position in the Alexandra area. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a reach truck to move, locate, and stack products within the warehouse. This role also includes assisting with maintaining a clean and safe work environment, as well as supporting inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

-Safely operate a reach truck to transport products to designated areas within the warehouse.

-Load and unload goods from delivery trucks and warehouse shelves.

-Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure efficient operations.

-Conduct routine inspections of the reach truck and report any mechanical issues.

-Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.

-Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.

-Assist with inventory management and stocktaking as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Reach Truck Driver or similar role.
  • Valid forklift certification (reach truck).
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Grade 12/Matric qualification.
