Job Overview

Idol Consulting Firm is looking for experienced and reliable Truck Drivers to join our logistics team at Idol Transport on a fixed-term basis. The ideal candidates will have a valid Code EC driverโ€™s license, a strong understanding of road safety regulations, and a commitment to delivering goods efficiently and professionally. This is a full-time position requiring safe transportation of goods while adhering to company and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

-Safely operate heavy-duty trucks for the transportation of goods.

-Follow designated routes and ensure timely delivery of goods.

-Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.

-Maintain a clean driving record with minimal technical violations.

-Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

-Report any issues or malfunctions to the management team.

-Follow all legal requirements, including driver hours and road safety laws.

-Communicate effectively in English to follow instructions and ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Valid and unendorsed Code EC driverโ€™s license.
  • Age between 25 and 60 years old.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy-duty vehicles.
  • At least 3 years of experience operating tankers.
  • Proven good driving record, with no blameworthy accidents and minimal technical violations.
  • Verbal and numerical literacy equivalent to a Grade 10 education level.
  • Proficient in English (speaking and comprehension).
  • Valid medical certificate.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal record verification.
