The ARC–Animal Production (ARC-AP) division is seeking to appoint 50 Research Support Assistants to support projects within the Rangeland and Forage Science programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide regular verbal and written feedback on field activities
• Work closely with research personnel to support project deliverables
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks
• Maintain data-collection equipment and use materials cost-effectively
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety policies

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform routine and physically demanding fieldwork in adverse weather conditions
• Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and ability to work independently

Advantage:

• Experience working in a research project or research environment
