Job Overview
homechoice is recruiting motivated and customer-focused Sales Associates and 24Hr Flexi Sales Associates to join its nationwide showrooms. These roles are ideal for retail professionals who thrive in a target-driven environment and enjoy converting showroom visitors into satisfied customers through engaging product demonstrations and excellent service. Successful candidates will manage the full customer journey, from needs analysis to order completion, while maintaining high operational and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert showroom visitors into customers through effective sales conversations and product demonstrations
- Drive and consistently achieve sales targets and conversion rates
- Accurately capture customer orders, documentation, payments, refunds, and credits
- Clearly communicate pricing, promotions, and key product features
- Manage the end-to-end customer journey, including account opening and order processing
- Lead and participate in sales activations to attract new customers and increase foot traffic
- Handle customer queries professionally to ensure a seamless experience
- Maintain store presentation through regular housekeeping and merchandising standards
- Complete all administrative tasks, reporting, and performance records accurately and on time
- Provide feedback to improve store processes and customer experience
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Minimum 1 year retail experience
- Clear criminal record and clear ITC (credit) record
- Must not be debarred or declared not fit and proper in terms of the FAIS Act
- Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Experience in homeware retail will be an advantage
