1) Internship โ Stakeholder & Transformation (X5)
Streams: Events (X3) โข Transformation (X2)
Stipend: R96,000 p.a. โข Duration: 24 months
Locations: SANRAL Head Office (Val de Grace, Pretoria) & Northern Region (Menlo Park, Pretoria)
Minimum Requirements
- Events: NQF 6 in Communications / Project Management / Transformation
- Transformation: NQF 7 in Public Admin / Public Management (or equivalent)
What Youโll Learn / Do
-Support SANRAL events & outreach: calendars, logistics, RSVPs, reports.
-Liaise with stakeholders nationwide; attend planning meetings.
-Run the Supplier Development Desk: assist SMMEs with tenders & portal queries.
-Maintain query registers, minutes, basic admin & records.
-Travel to project-related events as needed.
2) Internship โ Commercial Property Administration & Development
Stipend: R96,000 p.a. โข Duration: 24 months
Location: Head Office, Val de Grace, Pretoria
Minimum Requirements
- NQF 7 in Commercial Property Development/Planning/Administration or related Property Financial Management.
What Youโll Learn / Do
-Support Business Development Unit on property strategy, investments & governance.
-Market research, competitor tracking, trend & lease analysis; forecast project finances.
-Engage stakeholders; review valuations; assist with CAPEX/OPEX and policy work.
-Compile briefs, manage info for monthly reports, and support industry events.
3) Internships โ Engineering (X3)
Streams: Research & Innovation (X1) โข Asset Management (X2)
Stipend: R96,000 p.a. โข Duration: 24 months
Location: Head Office, Val de Grace, Pretoria
Minimum Requirements
- Research & Innovation: NQF 7 in Public Administration & Management.
- Asset Management: NQF 6+ in Civil Engineering.
What Youโll Learn / Do
- Asset Management: TMH3/TMH14 traffic monitoring, database updates, QA; TMH19 structures; TMH22 road asset management; ISO 55001 admin; procurement gate data; lidar/section verification.
- Research & Innovation: run research admin, coordinate focus groups & reviews, budget/milestone tracking, impact reports, seminar presentations, student mentorship tracking, records & stakeholder queries.
4) Internships โ ICT (Logistics) (X5)
Stipend: R96,000 p.a. โข Duration: 24 months
Location: COC Offices, Rooihuiskraal, Centurion
Minimum Requirements
- NQF 6 in Logistics / Transport / Operations / Business Admin / Customer Relations / SCM (or related).
What Youโll Learn / Do
- Stock & asset support; accurate records and reconciliations.
- Dispatch & distribution to CSCs, toll plazas, mobiles; track deliveries.
- Inventory counts; warehouse safety & organisation.
- Prep mobile operations stock; readiness & replenishment.
- Delivery notes, transfer forms, dispatch registers; weekly/monthly reports.
- Stakeholder query handling; escalate issues; comply with OHS.
