Programme Overview

This learnership offers on-the-job training combined with structured learning, specifically focused on Fire Fighting. This fixed-term contract will provide practical skills and training to support career growth in this field.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: National Senior Certificate or equivalent with passes in:
    • Technical Mathematics or Mathematics
    • English or Business English
    • Technical or Physical Science (preferred)
  • License: Code B driverโ€™s license.
  • Assessments:
    • Ability to pass stress and fear assessments for heights, confined spaces, and fire exposure.
    • Successful completion of a fire fighter fitness assessment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in the learnership program and complete all required assessments.
  • Engage in workplace readiness activities and hands-on exercises to develop practical skills.
