Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chef specializing in Chinese traditional cuisine. We are looking for a dedicated culinary professional with extensive expertise in authentic Chinese cooking techniques, presentation, and flavor profiles to lead our culinary operations.
Key Responsibilities
–Menu Development: Design and implement an authentic menu showcasing traditional Chinese cuisine.
–Culinary Excellence: Prepare high-quality dishes with attention to detail, authenticity, and customer satisfaction.
–Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations, including training team members in authentic Chinese culinary techniques.
–Kitchen Management: Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high standards.
–Innovation: Continuously improve and adapt recipes to enhance dining experiences while maintaining cultural authenticity.
–Quality Assurance: Ensure all dishes meet food safety and hygiene standards.
–Procurement: Source and manage ingredients specific to Chinese cuisine.
Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Background:
- Certification in Learning Plan on Chinese Traditional Food.
- Certificate in Occupational Skill Testing on Chinese Cuisine.
- Experience:
- At least 15 years of experience in preparing, presenting, and managing operations focused on traditional Chinese cuisine.
- Skill Set:
- Expertise in Chinese cooking techniques such as stir-frying, steaming, roasting, and dim sum preparation.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese herbs, spices, and ingredient combinations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail and creativity in dish presentation.
