Overview

Clicks Group has multiple nationwide vacancies for Shop Assistant / Cashier and Festive Casual roles. These positions focus on service excellence at point of sale (POS), accurate cash handling, and maintaining high merchandising standards to deliver a great in-store customer experience. No experience is required for these roles—Matric is essential, and retail exposure is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all POS activities timeously and accurately; handle cash safely.
• Promote Clicks ClubCard and inform customers of current promotions.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service; act as a visible brand ambassador.
• Replenish shelves and maintain housekeeping to store and visual standards.
• Support stock counts, basic admin, and loss-prevention procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, ranges, promotions, and events.

Requirements & Skills

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric) – essential.
• Experience: No experience required (retail/FMCG exposure is advantageous).
• Knowledge/Skills: Basic numeracy; computer literacy; customer focus; clear communication; planning and organising; problem-solving; ability to work retail shifts (weekends/public holidays).
