Overview

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is hiring across multiple stores for cashiers and customer-facing roles. You’ll deliver service excellence at point of sale (POS), handle payments accurately, support merchandising/housekeeping, and keep customers informed about promotions and loyalty rewards. No experience required for all roles below (retail exposure is advantageous). Matric is essential.

Core Responsibilities (apply to all cashier/frontline roles)

• Process sales/returns at POS accurately; handle cash/card/vouchers safely.
• Promote loyalty/partner programmes; inform customers about promotions.
• Maintain merchandising, replenishment, ticketing, and store housekeeping standards.
• Keep product/promotions knowledge up to date; resolve basic customer queries.
• Follow loss-prevention, security, HSE and SOP requirements; complete till paperwork.

Core Requirements & Skills (apply to all roles)

• Grade 12 (Matric). No experience required (training provided).
• Basic numeracy and computer literacy; strong customer orientation and communication.
• Willing/able to work retail hours (weekends, public holidays, late trade).
• Clear credit/criminal record and reliable transport/proximity to store (where applicable).
