Overview:

Clicks Group is recruiting Shop Assistants / Cashiers to join their nationwide network of stores. This role ensures efficient point-of-sale operations, stock merchandising, and excellence in service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

-Execute all operational activities at the point of sale (POS) efficiently and accurately.

-Scan merchandise, process payments, and handle cash securely.

-Promote and enroll customers in the Clicks ClubCard program to achieve participation targets.

-Inform customers of promotions and special offers to drive sales.

-Provide professional, friendly customer service as a visible brand ambassador.

-Perform merchandising and housekeeping duties in line with store standards.

-Keep up-to-date with product ranges, promotions, and events to assist customers effectively.

-Support Clicks’ vision of being the customerโ€™s first choice in health and beauty retail.


Knowledge and Skills:

Essential:

  • Basic mathematics and numeracy skills
  • Familiarity with retail/FMCG environments
  • Stock management and merchandising principles
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Effective communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Planning and organisational abilities

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing retail environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12 (Essential)
    Desirable: Minimum 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level

    Desirable: Previous experience in a customer service role within a retail/FMCG setting
