Overview

The Building Company is seeking reliable and skilled Drivers. The primary role is to ensure the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of goods to clients across various areas in South Africa while maintaining the integrity of the items. This position is permanent and offers a market-related salary.

Responsibilities

-Safely deliver goods to clients, ensuring no breakages or shortages.

-Neatly organize and secure items in the vehicle to prevent damage during transit.

-Supervise and assist with the loading of goods onto the vehicle.

-Conduct daily inspection checks on the vehicle and report any defects.

-Maintain the vehicle in good working condition and minimize operational costs.

-Verify and supply the correct quantities of goods as per delivery notes.

-Collect cash on delivery (COD) payments and manage authorizations for delivery notes.

-Provide excellent customer service to uphold the company’s values and culture.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric)
• Driver’s License: Code 10 (Heavy Vehicle) or Code 8 (Light Vehicle) for vehicles ranging from 3501 kg to 9000 kg
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant driving experience
