Pedros, one of South Africaโs fastest-growing flame-grilled chicken brands, is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Waiter to join our team at Sandown Retail Crossing, Parklands. If you’re passionate about providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment, weโd love to meet you.
Purpose of the Role:
To provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a welcoming and efficient dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve customers promptly and professionally with a friendly attitude.
- Stand for extended periods while delivering orders and managing tables.
- Lift, carry, and move stock items or equipment when required.
- Work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
- Ensure all customer needs are met in a timely and courteous manner.
- Follow company hygiene and food safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 10 (Matric preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience as a waiter
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to handle long shifts, remain on your feet, and stay alert
- Friendly, reliable, and customer-service oriented
- Able to work weekends and public holidays
