Overview:

Pedros, one of South Africaโ€™s fastest-growing flame-grilled chicken brands, is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Waiter to join our team at Sandown Retail Crossing, Parklands. If you’re passionate about providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment, weโ€™d love to meet you.

Purpose of the Role:

To provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a welcoming and efficient dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve customers promptly and professionally with a friendly attitude.
  2. Stand for extended periods while delivering orders and managing tables.
  3. Lift, carry, and move stock items or equipment when required.
  4. Work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
  6. Ensure all customer needs are met in a timely and courteous manner.
  7. Follow company hygiene and food safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 10 (Matric preferred)
  • At least 1 year of experience as a waiter
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to handle long shifts, remain on your feet, and stay alert
  • Friendly, reliable, and customer-service oriented
  • Able to work weekends and public holidays
