Overview

CJ Mining Holdings is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager/HR to lead and manage human resources and administrative operations at its diamond prospecting project in Ngope-Tsoeu (Roma). The ideal candidate will play a vital leadership role in developing and implementing HR strategies, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting overall business success. This is a 5-year contract position with a 6-month on-the-job training (OJT) program.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

-Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with company goals.

-Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.

-Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

-Lead training and development programs to improve employee skills and performance.

-Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts or disciplinary issues.

-Administer compensation and benefits programs.

-Maintain HR metrics and performance reports.

-Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.

-Lead and mentor the HR team.

-Oversee talent acquisition and retention strategies.

General Management

-Oversee administrative operations, including office management and procurement.

-Prepare and manage HR and admin budgets.

-Ensure effective communication across departments.

-Manage contracts and vendor relationships.

-Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

-Support organizational development and strategic planning initiatives.

-Maintain a safe, efficient workplace environment.

-Advise senior management on organizational planning and decision-making.

Requirements and Skills

-Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).

-Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and HRIS software.

-Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

-Proven experience in developing HR policies and strategic planning.

-Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

-Ability to work independently and within a team.

-Strong time management and organizational skills.

-Knowledge of mining industry operations is advantageous.
