Overview

Letsema Horticulture Market is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Operations Officer to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the market’s daily operations. This role will support the implementation of operational procedures, monitor market activities, and assist in managing logistics and administration.

Key Responsibilities

-Coordinate and oversee daily market operations

-Ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety protocols

-Maintain communication with vendors, clients, and internal departments

-Monitor and report on stock movement, flow of produce, and service delivery

-Assist with resolving operational issues to minimise disruptions

-Keep accurate and timely records related to market operations

-Support planning and execution of market events or logistics

Minimum Requirements

-Diploma or Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field

-At least 2 years of experience in operations, administration, or logistics

-Strong organisational and multitasking skills

-Good interpersonal and communication skills

-Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

-Computer literacy, including MS Office applications
