Overview:

Clicks Group is looking for enthusiastic and service-driven Shop Assistant / Cashiers to join their team in Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas. The ideal candidates will play a key role in creating a welcoming in-store atmosphere and ensuring smooth and efficient operations at the point of sale.


Key Responsibilities:

-Accurately and efficiently process all transactions at the point of sale (POS).

-Ensure safe and correct handling of cash and other payment methods.

-Actively promote and sign up customers for the Clicks ClubCard to meet store targets.

-Inform customers about current in-store promotions to support sales goals.

-Deliver excellent customer service by being approachable, helpful, and professional.

-Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and visual merchandising.

-Stay informed about product ranges, promotions, and events to assist customers effectively.

-Support the company’s goal of becoming the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer.


Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
    • Desirable: Minimum of 50% in Mathematics and English at Grade 12 level
  • Experience:
    • Desirable: Experience in a retail or FMCG customer-facing environment
