Overview
Letsema Horticulture Market is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Stock Controller to join its operations team. This role is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment of stock, and facilitating accurate recording and reporting of inventory movement.
Key Responsibilities
-Monitor and replenish inventory based on market demands
-Implement stock audits, transfers, and internal stock movements
-Maintain accurate purchase and pricing records
-Oversee incoming and outgoing stock and ensure proper documentation
-Liaise with suppliers and the accounting team for inventory planning
-Assist in investigating stock variances and discrepancies
-Ensure compliance with internal controls and inventory policies
Minimum Requirements
-Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Inventory Management, Accounting, or a related field
-Minimum 2 years’ experience in stock control, warehousing, or inventory coordination
-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-Excellent organizational and communication skills
