Position Title: Catering Supervisor (x2)

Overview:
SUN JV, working in partnership with the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) Project, is seeking experienced and dedicated individuals for the role of Catering Supervisor. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing daily catering operations, ensuring food quality, safety, hygiene, and excellent service delivery to project staff and personnel on site.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise and coordinate activities of catering staff to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
-Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
-Manage stock levels and request supplies as needed to avoid shortages or excess.
-Plan menus in collaboration with kitchen staff, taking into account dietary needs and available resources.
-Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and dining facilities.
-Train new staff and conduct regular performance evaluations.
-Resolve customer complaints and address service issues promptly.
Requirements and Skills:
-Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or Catering Services.
-Minimum of 3 yearsβ supervisory experience in a catering or hospitality environment.
-Strong knowledge of food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
-Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
-Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage a team effectively.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
