Overview

Buffalo International Logistics is looking for a skilled and reliable Code 08 Driver to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of goods, materials, or passengers, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company policies. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

-Transport goods and materials to and from designated locations in a timely and safe manner.

-Ensure all deliveries and pickups are accurately documented, including obtaining necessary signatures and receipts.

-Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety policies.

-Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

-Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or violations immediately.

-Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle, including fueling and basic upkeep.

-Comply with all driving regulations and standards set by the company and industry.

-Be available to work shifts, including weekends and night shifts as required.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven driving experience.
  • Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
  • Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • Clean driving and criminal record.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and nights.
  • Prior experience in courier services, deliveries, or transportation is preferred.
