Nortex is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Manager to oversee our weaving and preparation department in Francistown. If you excel in textile technology and team leadership, this role is for you!
Job Purpose:
Manage daily production, plant maintenance, and technical weaving skills training in the weaving and preparation department.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise yarn preparation, sizing, and weaving processes.
-Plan maintenance schedules, budgets, and inventory.
-Train department staff.
Requirements:
-Degree/Diploma in Textile Technology or equivalent.
-10โ15 years of textile industry experience, with 5 years in managerial roles.
-Knowledge of Dobby and Jacquard machines, maintenance, and toweling product specifications.
