Overview:
SRJ Enterprises Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and passionate Bakery Manager to oversee daily operations at our Mogoditshane bakery. Weโre looking for a candidate who combines hands-on bakery experience with excellent leadership and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise all daily bakery activities, ensuring smooth operation and team coordination
-Maintain exceptional product quality and enforce food safety standards
-Monitor and manage stock levels, including ordering of ingredients and supplies
-Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
-Handle staff scheduling, training, and performance management
-Develop and test new products, collaborating on seasonal and promotional items
-Provide outstanding customer service and handle queries or complaints professionally
Requirements:
-Proven experience in a bakery or food production management role
-Strong knowledge of baking methods, equipment, and food safety regulations
-Leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and train staff
-Excellent communication and organizational abilities
-Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
-Food safety and hygiene certification will be advantageous
