Overview

Clicks Group is offering permanent opportunities for Shop Assistants / Cashiers to join their retail stores. The purpose of the role is to deliver service excellence through efficient customer service, accurate point of sale (POS) operations and effective merchandising, ensuring a positive and professional shopping experience.

This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are passionate about retail and customer service and want to build a long-term career in FMCG and retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently execute all POS operational activities
• Accurately scan merchandise and process payments, including ClubCard rewards
• Ensure safe and accurate handling of cash
• Promote and enroll customers on the Clicks ClubCard programme
• Inform customers about promotions to support sales targets
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Maintain merchandising standards and store housekeeping
• Ensure products are correctly priced and displayed
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions and store events

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 (Matric) – Essential
• Maths 50% and English 50% (Desirable)

Experience

• Customer-facing experience in retail/FMCG environment (Desirable)
