Minimum Qualification

  • NQF Level 4 (National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent)

Additional Requirements

-Medically fit to work in the relevant mining environment

-Clear security screening record

-Valid driverโ€™s license (if applicable)

-Relevant experience in a mining or related environment will be advantageous


Key Responsibilities

Programme Objectives

-Demonstrate understanding of programme objectives and tasks

-Complete all modules within the specified timeframe

-Escalate programme-related concerns where necessary

-Adhere to company policies and procedures

Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

-Comply with all legal and safety requirements

-Follow required standards, specifications, and training

-Attend SHE meetings as required

-Wear and use prescribed safety equipment

-Identify hazards and participate in on-the-job risk assessments

Reporting & Development

-Compile developmental progress reports

-Report inconsistencies, challenges, and improvement ideas

-Communicate recommendations effectively


Selection Process

  • Pre-screening and psychometric evaluation may form part of the selection process
  • Shortlisted candidates will attend a panel interview
  • Applicants who do not receive feedback within 14 days after closing may consider their application unsuccessful
