Job Purpose

FNB is seeking a Sales Consultant to deliver exceptional customer service by understanding individual client needs and providing tailored financial solutions. The role requires achieving sales targets while maintaining strict compliance with company policies, governance standards, and ethical practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised, value-adding financial solutions to clients
• Achieve sales targets in line with performance scorecards
• Manage sales pipeline effectively to maintain acceptable cost of sales ratios
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue and expand the client base
• Promote packaged financial solutions and maximise cross-selling opportunities
• Drive adoption of digital and self-service banking solutions
• Maintain specialised knowledge of FirstRand-approved products and processes
• Ensure full compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory standards
• Identify and escalate risks as part of daily responsibilities
• Complete administration, reporting, and system updates accurately and timeously
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder and customer relationships
• Contribute to teamwork, inclusivity, and operational efficiencies
• Deliver high-quality work aligned to predefined standards and service levels
