Programme Overview

Eskom is inviting applications for its Procurement and Supply Chain Management Graduate in Training Programme within the Corporate and Supply Chain Management Business Unit. This programme is designed to provide graduates with practical workplace experience in procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain operations while ensuring compliance with Eskom’s procurement policies and procedures.

Successful candidates will gain hands-on exposure to sourcing, procurement administration, and supplier coordination, contributing to the efficient acquisition of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute integrated sourcing and procurement processes in line with prescribed procedures
• Purchase goods and services while managing procurement administration activities
• Perform dual adjudication of tenders and manage contracts and purchase orders
• Identify and manage risks in consultation with supervisors and recommend solutions
• Negotiate with suppliers and coordinate agreements to meet organisational requirements
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Access, analyse, and interpret procurement information independently

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) in one of the following fields:
  • Commerce
  • Transport
  • Logistics
  • Supply Chain Management
• No prior work experience required; training will be provided
