Overview
Clicks Group is recruiting 8 Shop Assistants / Cashiers for its Magaliesview store. This permanent retail opportunity is ideal for candidates with a passion for customer service, retail operations and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
The role focuses on delivering service excellence, accurate cash handling and effective merchandising to ensure customers enjoy a positive in-store experience.
Key Responsibilities
-Execute all point-of-sale (POS) activities efficiently and accurately
-Scan merchandise and process payments correctly
-Action Clicks ClubCard rewards
-Ensure safe handling of cash and compliance with store procedures
-Promote the Clicks ClubCard and enroll new members
-Inform customers about promotions to support sales targets
-Deliver excellent customer service as a brand ambassador
-Maintain merchandising standards and store housekeeping
-Stay updated on product ranges, promotions and store events
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Grade 12 (Matric) โ Essential
- Mathematics 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level โ Desirable
Experience
- Experience in a customer-facing retail or FMCG environment โ Desirable
Knowledge Requirements
