Overview
Ocean Basket is looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join their kitchen team as Back of House Staff (Griller & Sculler). This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and are passionate about food preparation and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
– Prepare and grill food items according to restaurant standards
– Assist with food preparation and kitchen setup
– Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
– Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently
– Ensure proper storage and handling of food items
– Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
– Support kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 10 / Grade 12 (preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is an advantage
