Overview

Unitrans is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Worker to join the Safripol KZN Main Warehouse team. The role focuses on supporting drivers with loading and offloading activities while maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

Key Responsibilities

– Assist drivers with loading and offloading trucks.
– Ensure walkways and work areas are clean and free from debris.
– Carry out general cleaning of the premises.
– Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
– Report any maintenance or repair issues to management.
– Perform ad-hoc duties as required by the supervisor.

Requirements & Skills

-Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
-Must be medically fit.
-Reliable and able to work independently.
-Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
-Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
-Clean criminal record.
-Own reliable transport to and from work.
-Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, pushing, pulling).
-Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safe handling practices.
-Good communication and teamwork skills.
-Strong organisational skills and self-motivation.
