A leading value retail company is seeking an experienced Product Planner to support and drive merchandise strategy through data-driven decision-making.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (Essential)
Preferred Qualifications:
- BCom / BSc Degree (Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Science)
OR - National Diploma in Internal Auditing / Cost & Management Accounting
OR - National Diploma in Financial Information Systems
Experience Required
-Minimum 2โ3 yearsโ experience in product planning (Retail/FMCG)
-Experience in replenishment and assortment planning
-Previous store planning experience
-1โ2 years store management experience (advantage)
-Exposure to logistics and supply chain processes
-Experience working with planning systems
-Strong Microsoft Excel skills (advanced preferred)
Key Responsibilities
-Develop and implement departmental business plans aligned to merchandise strategy
-Manage forecasts to drive growth and profitability
-Prepare and deliver merchandise assortment plans
-Ensure effective stock inflow and replenishment levels
-Provide accurate and timely merchandise insights
-Support decision-making using data analysis
-Execute and manage planning-related projects

- Understanding of retail merchandise cycles
