Overview: ADvTECH Schools Division is a leader in the private education sector, committed to developing human capacity in South Africa. We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Driver to join our team in Roodepoort, Gauteng. This is a permanent position that requires an individual with excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to maintain and manage the assigned vehicles effectively.

Responsibilities:

-Perform various driving tasks as required, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.

-Maintain cleanliness and perform basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle, including refueling and completing daily checklists.

-Assist with general cleaning, housekeeping, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

-Ensure timely and safe transport of students and staff, while maintaining effective communication with them.

-Be prepared to work overtime when necessary to meet operational needs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Licenses: Valid Code 8 or 10 Driverโ€™s Licence and a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position within a comparable environment.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Excellent eyesight.
    • Punctual, responsible, and reliable.
    • Energetic and enthusiastic with a helpful attitude.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
    • Trustworthy and able to work collaboratively within a team.
