Overview
Airlink is inviting suitable candidates to apply for cleaning opportunities in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
These positions involve maintaining high standards of cleanliness across Airlink facilities and aircraft in accordance with applicable aircraft maintenance and cleaning procedures.
Candidates must have at least Grade 12 or an equivalent N4 qualification and relevant experience within a cleaning or aviation environment. Candidates applying for the Cape Town Cleaner position must also have a valid Code 10 driver’s licence.
Positions Available
1. Cleaning Department โ Johannesburg
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 or equivalent N4
The successful candidate will carry out cleaning duties across Airlink’s facilities and aircraft while following the required aircraft maintenance and cleaning procedures.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent N4.
- Experience within a cleaning or aviation environment.
- Safety hazard training.
2. Cleaner โ Cape Town International Airport
Location: Cape Town International Airport, Cape Town, Western Cape
Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 or equivalent N4
The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning Airlink facilities and aircraft according to the company’s applicable aircraft maintenance and cleaning procedures.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent N4.
- Valid Code 10 driver’s licence.
- Experience within a cleaning or aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the position and work location, responsibilities will primarily include:
– Cleaning Airlink aircraft.
– Cleaning designated Airlink facilities.
– Maintaining required cleanliness standards.
– Carrying out cleaning duties according to applicable procedures.
– Following aircraft cleaning requirements.
– Working in accordance with applicable aircraft maintenance procedures.
– Handling cleaning duties carefully within an aviation environment.
– Following workplace health and safety requirements.
– Identifying and reporting potential safety hazards where necessary.
– Maintaining a clean, safe and orderly working environment.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 or equivalent N4 qualification.
- Previous experience within a cleaning or aviation environment.

For the Johannesburg Cleaning Department position, applicants must also have:
- Safety hazard training.
For the Cape Town Cleaner position, applicants must also have:
