Overview

Sasol is recruiting a Clerk to provide administrative and office support services within the Secunda Operations team.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates with administration experience who are highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced office environment.

Successful candidates will assist with scheduling, document management, reporting, office coordination, travel arrangements, and general administration support.


Minimum Requirements

  • High School / Grade 12 / School Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 1 year relevant administration experience
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration & Support

-Provide daily administrative support to the allocated team

-Manage appointments, schedules, and calendars

-Handle office correspondence and enquiries

-Prepare letters, reports, forms, and presentations

-Maintain filing systems and office records

-Organise paperwork and computer-based information


Meetings & Events Coordination

  • Organise meetings and conferences
  • Book meeting rooms and conference facilities
  • Take meeting minutes and maintain notes
  • Coordinate internal and external events
  • Arrange travel and accommodation bookings

Records & Reporting

  • Capture and maintain data in standardised formats
  • Compile reports for management
  • Perform filing, sorting, and cross-referencing of documents
  • Maintain hard-copy and electronic records
  • Process invoices and office expenditure records

Customer & Administrative Services

  • Answer telephone calls and assist visitors
  • Direct enquiries to the correct departments
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage office stationery and supplies
  • Photocopy, print, and distribute documents
