Job Opportunity

Carrus Group is recruiting experienced Code 14 (EC) Drivers to join their operations in Milnerton, Cape Town. This role is ideal for reliable, safety-focused drivers with solid Horse & Trailer experience. Successful candidates may be considered for permanent placement based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

-Safely operate a Horse & Trailer (Code 14/EC) vehicle on assigned routes

-Transport goods timeously, ensuring cargo is secure and delivered in good condition

-Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects immediately

-Comply with road traffic regulations and company safety standards

-Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and trip sheets

-Assist with loading/unloading where required

-Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, roadworthy, and fuelled

-Follow instructions from dispatch and communicate delays or issues promptly

-Represent the company professionally at all times

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Code 14 (EC) Driver’s Licence
• Valid PrDP
• More than 3 years’ experience driving Horse & Trailer combinations
