Overview:
BOTIC Construction (Pty) Ltd is seeking qualified and experienced Electricians to join our team for an upcoming large-scale solar panel electricity system installation project in Jwaneng, Botswana. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a renewable energy initiative that supports Botswana’s green energy future.
Available Positions:
1. Senior Electricians (Team Leaders) โ 10 Positions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in electrical systems (preferably with solar installations)
- Trade Test Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
2. Junior Electricians โ 30 Positions
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 yearsโ experience in electrical installations
- Basic understanding of electrical systems
- Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
Key Responsibilities (All Roles):
- Installation of solar panels, wiring systems, inverters, and control components
- Strict adherence to safety regulations and installation protocols
- Collaboration with engineers, technicians, and project managers on-site
- Ensuring quality workmanship and timely project delivery
- Accurate reporting of progress, incidents, and site conditions
