Minimum Requirements
- Competency in basic post functions related to food service.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in at least two official languages (one must be English).
- Must be a South African citizen.
- A Grade 10 qualification will serve as an advantage.
- Basic skills in literacy, numeracy, and communication are essential.
- No previous criminal convictions or pending departmental cases.
- Must be willing to undergo security screening and fingerprint verification.
- Ability to operate basic kitchen machinery and equipment.
- Flexibility to work extended hours when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments.
- Provide general support to ensure the smooth operation of the food service division.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation in all food preparation and serving areas.
- Set up dining halls and meal service areas.
