Minimum Requirements
Candidates should have:
- A qualification at NQF Level 6/7, recognised by SAQA, in one of the following:
- Public Administration
- Business Administration
- Data Analytics
- 3–5 years relevant experience in a Social Security environment.
- Of this experience, at least 2 years must have been at Assistant Manager level or equivalent managerial level.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will:
- Coordinate, monitor and provide guidance in the delivery of grant administration and operational services.
- Coordinate and monitor the performance of Social Relief of Distress (SRD) services.
- Coordinate, monitor and provide guidance on Disability Management Unit (DMU) services.
- Coordinate and monitor district BMU and PCM projects.
- Coordinate and provide guidance in the performance of Customer Care functions and services.
- Manage the resources of the Unit.
