Overview
Airlink is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for a Passenger Handling Agent position based at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional assistance to passengers throughout their airport journey. The role focuses on the efficient handling of passengers and their baggage when boarding and disembarking flights, as well as responding to passenger enquiries.
Applicants must have Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification, a Travel and Tourism Diploma and at least one year of working experience within the airline industry.
Key Responsibilities
The Passenger Handling Agent will be responsible for:
– Providing professional assistance to Airlink passengers.
– Assisting with the handling of passengers boarding flights.
– Assisting passengers when disembarking from flights.
– Supporting the efficient handling of passenger baggage.
– Assisting passengers with general enquiries.
– Providing clear and professional information to passengers.
– Helping ensure passengers receive efficient service throughout the airport handling process.
– Supporting smooth passenger movement during arrivals and departures.
– Maintaining professional customer-service standards when interacting with passengers.
– Following applicable airline and airport procedures when performing passenger-handling duties.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- A Travel and Tourism Diploma.
- At least one year of working experience within the airline industry.
