Overview
A leading client in the environmental services and waste management sector is seeking experienced Code 14 Drivers to operate from the Prospecton Depot in Durban South.
This role involves the safe transportation of hazardous goods while ensuring full compliance with road safety legislation and company operational standards. The position is offered on an adhoc basis and requires strict adherence to safety and documentation procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport hazardous materials to designated locations
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects
- Ensure full compliance with road safety and hazardous goods regulations
- Complete all delivery documentation accurately
- Adhere to company safety policies and operational procedures
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness
- Report incidents, delays, or safety concerns immediately
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) โ essential
- Valid Code 14 Driverโs Licence
- Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Valid Dangerous Goods Certification
- Minimum 5 yearsโ experience transporting hazardous materials
- Clean driving record
