Overview

The Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport is recruiting 31 Road Workers for the Mashishing Cost Centre under the Road Maintenance Programme.

This role focuses on maintaining road infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient transport routes. Successful candidates will perform various physical road maintenance duties as required.

No prior work experience is required.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10 certificate
• No work experience required
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety
• Good listening and communication skills
• Good interpersonal relations

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform patch work on roads
• Clear bushes along road reserves
• Erect and maintain road signs
• Clean drainage systems
• Remove rubbish from roads and surrounding areas
• Execute general road maintenance activities as required
