Overview

Volpes is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Sales Associate to join the Somerset West team on a maternity cover contract.

This opportunity is ideal for energetic individuals who enjoy retail, customer service, and home décor trends. The successful candidate will assist customers, drive sales performance, maintain store presentation standards, and contribute to creating a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

– Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the brand professionally.
– Assist customers in finding suitable products and solutions.
– Achieve sales targets and contribute to store performance.
– Stay updated with current décor and lifestyle trends.
– Identify opportunities to increase sales and customer engagement.
– Replenish stock and ensure shelves are fully stocked and organised.
– Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards.
– Support daily store operations and housekeeping duties.

Requirements & Skills

-Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
-Previous retail or sales experience will be advantageous.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong customer service and sales skills.
