Overview

Sasol is recruiting a Clerk to provide comprehensive administrative support within Secunda Operations. This role is responsible for ensuring administrative efficiency and smooth day-to-day office operations while supporting the allocated team.

Purpose of the Role

To contribute to providing administrative support to an allocated team and promote effective office administration and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general office administration and support services
  • Handle inquiries, schedule appointments and coordinate meetings
  • Organise and attend meetings, take minutes and distribute notes
  • Manage room bookings and conference facilities
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodation bookings
  • Arrange internal and external events and conferences
  • Maintain scheduling and event calendars
  • Prepare, type and distribute documents, letters and reports
  • Manage office supplies, stationery and equipment stock
  • Capture, reconcile and manipulate data for management reports
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems
  • Perform sorting, filing, cross-referencing and document control
  • Monitor departmental expenditure and maintain records
  • Process invoicing when required
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders
  • Receive visitors and manage telephonic queries professionally
  • Ensure compliance with agreed service level agreements

Minimum Requirements

Formal Education:

  • High School / School Diploma or equivalent

Working Experience:

  • 0+ years relevant administrative experience
