Overview

Senwes Equipment is seeking a skilled and experienced Driver to join our team in Lichtenburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transfer of stock and equipment, while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

-Safely pack, load, and unload parcels onto trucks according to specified requirements.

-Oversee a general worker assisting with loading and unloading.

-Ensure parcels are unloaded accurately, according to client specifications.

-Obtain delivery confirmations from each store and complete necessary documentation.

-Ensure the timely delivery of goods to assigned branches.

-Review routes and delivery parcels for optimal efficiency.

-Conduct pre-departure inspections of vehicles.

-Ensure vehicles and trailers are maintained according to company standards.

-Follow all company policies regarding the operation of vehicles.

-Provide excellent customer service to all branches during deliveries.

-Perform any additional driving-related tasks as required by the company.

Requirements

  • Education: National Senior Certificate.
  • License: Valid Code 10 driverโ€™s license.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant driving experience.
  • Knowledge & Skills:
    • General knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety.
    • Strong time management skills.
    • Safety-conscious with a detail-oriented mindset.
