Sasol is recruiting a Storeman to join Secunda Operations (EOP). This role is responsible for executing and managing warehouse processes including receiving, binning, storage and issuing of materials to Production and Maintenance teams.

Purpose of the Job

To execute and manage warehouse operations including:

• Receiving and binning of materials
• Safe storage of stock
• Issuing direct and indirect materials to Business Units
• Ensuring compliance with safety, legislation and company policies

The role ensures operational targets are met while maintaining custody, care and control of stock, storage facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations (receiving, storage, picking and issuing)
• Apply best practices in materials handling and storage
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment
• Conduct SAP transactional activities accurately
• Compile and maintain warehouse documentation, records and reports
• Provide timeous supply of materials to customers
• Support other inbound warehouse departments when required
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Ensure adherence to governance, procedures and company policies

Minimum Requirements

Education

• National Senior Certificate (Matric) or N3 Certificate
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Experience

• Minimum 2 years relevant warehouse experience
• Minimum 2 years SAP systems experience
