Position Overview: Transnet is seeking General Workers to provide manual labor as directed by supervisors. The role is crucial for maintaining a safe, clean working environment and ensuring optimized cargo handling at the terminal.

Key Responsibilities:

-Carry out labor tasks as instructed to maintain cleanliness and safety at the terminal.

-Assist in optimizing cargo handling processes to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

–Grade 12 / NQF 04: Minimum 1 year of experience in terminal operations.

–Grade 10 / NQF 02: Minimum 2 years of experience in terminal operations.

Skills and Competencies:

–Knowledge of Terminal Layout: Familiarity with terminal structure and operations.

–Safety Awareness: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

–Stack Management: Understanding of cargo stacking and organization.

–Attention to Detail: Ensure precision in carrying out tasks.

–Cleanliness: Maintain a tidy and orderly workspace.
