Unilever is offering an Automated Packaging Learnership opportunity for unemployed learners in Boksburg. This programme provides practical training in operating automated packaging equipment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on production experience within a leading global manufacturing environment.

Programme Purpose

The learnership is designed to train participants to:

• Operate automated packaging lines
• Maintain health, safety, and quality standards
• Develop mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills
• Understand production processes and line coordination
• Build strong communication and teamwork capabilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general production line operations and cleaning activities
• Conduct pre-start-up safety and cleanliness checks
• Monitor product and packaging quality against set standards
• Identify and report equipment or process faults
• Clean machinery according to manufacturer and site guidelines
• Prepare and check raw materials for production
• Maintain personal and team safety on the production line
• Contribute to environmentally sustainable work practices
• Complete learnership assessments, logbooks, and assignments

Minimum Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Matric) with Mathematics and Science
  OR
• N2 / N3 / N4 Engineering qualification
