Overview:
Ster-Kinekor Theatres is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Multi-Skilled Employee to join our team at Rosebank Nouveau on a fixed-term basis. The successful candidate will work across various operational areas, including cashiering, food & beverage service, cinema assistance, and customer interaction. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the entertainment industry while delivering excellent service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
-Serve as a cashier at Box Office, Catering Sales, or Collections
-Perform duties as a Cinema Assistant, Waiter, Poppers Operator, or any function assigned by supervisors
-Maintain updated knowledge of products, promotions, and marketing campaigns for upselling
-Ensure promotional and visual standards are met (e.g., updated posters, age restrictions, and product displays)
-Prepare food and beverages (e.g., popcorn, slush) according to quality standards
-Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen, storerooms, and customer-facing areas
-Ensure proper storage, packaging, and presentation of prepared products
-Comply with health & safety regulations and submit reports as required
-Always represent Ster-Kinekor professionally and maintain proper grooming and uniform standards
Minimum Requirements:
-Matric / Grade 12
-0โ1 year of work experience in a similar role
-Basic computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
-Experience with VISTA ticketing system (advantageous)

-Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
-Good organizational and administrative abilities
-Analytical and detail-oriented
-Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
