Overview
Markham, a leading menโs fashion brand under The Foschini Group (TFG), is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Administration Controller to support the store at BR Mall in Gaborone. This position plays a critical role in ensuring efficient store administration, stock control, transactional accuracy, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
-Assist the Store Manager with stock-taking processes and daily administration.
-Monitor and analyse stock movement to prevent losses and reduce shrinkage.
-Implement and follow risk management practices and audit compliance procedures.
-Manage and maintain store administrative systems, reports, and records.
-Extract and analyse store performance reports and share insights with the Store Manager.
-Oversee transactional activities including cash-ups and POS operations.
-Maintain in-store filing systems, paperwork, and reporting accuracy.
-Uphold security and safety protocols within the store environment.
-Process customer transactions using the point-of-sale system.
-Engage with customers professionally to understand and meet their needs.
-Promote customer loyalty programs and enhance the in-store shopping experience.
-Support visual merchandising, housekeeping, and general store readiness.
-Continuously develop product knowledge and selling techniques.
-Work within the team to achieve sales targets and store objectives.
-Keep informed of the latest fashion and brand trends.
Requirements and Skills
Qualifications
- BGCSE (Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education) or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a retail or administrative role, preferably within the fashion or apparel industry.
